An Effective 必威体育betway888 Engagement Guest Lecture was arranged by 必威体育betway888 School of Nursing MCON, MAHE, 必威体育betway888 on “Safety practices while handling chemotherapeutic drugs" for 3rd year GNM students on January 29, 2025. The resource person was Mr Siraj Salim Shaikh,?an alumna of MSON, MCON, MAHE, 必威体育betway888, Diploma(N) batch (2014-2018). He explained the classification of chemotherapeutic drugs, preparation, and precautions to be taken while handling chemotherapeutic and vesicant drugs. There was active interaction between the students and the resource person, which led to a good learning experience. A total of 67 participants (GNM students and staff nurses of Paediatric Haemato-oncology) attended the session. Organizing interactions with experts in the field and preparing the student nurses for future healthcare services aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, 4: Quality education.
